1923 - Max Hattler

I was the Leading technical director on this short film, directed by Max Hattler.

The idea was to recreate an animated version of Augustin Lesage's painting 'A symbolic Composition of the Spiritual World' from 1923. We animated 2D cards in maya and then mapped multiple instances of our flat animations to 3D objects, allowing us to fly a camera through the detail Lasage inspired environment.

It took a total of one week, with a lot of overtime, a team of four 3d artists and two animators to create this. All the animations was produced in Autodesk Maya and compositing was done in Adobe After Effects.
